An Introduction to Cloudglider

In 2003, a singer took a year out to dream and scheme about setting up a new kind of vocal training company for singers. Looking around the vocal training market it became obvious, so as not to become just another good singing teacher out there, that this singer needed to be different. Having watched thousands of singers, this soon to be singing teacher became aware of just what the audience really needed to keep them engrossed and not going through the contents of their handbags. This singer also became aware of what a singing teacher needed to do in order to achieve that. That something also needed to accessible to all singers of all ages and regardless of ability, yet had to be affordable.

The dream grew and grew. Good quality shows needed to be created and organised to showcase what could be achieved, with any profits made going to various charities. More importantly than that, this singing teacher wanted to watch people grow in confidence and stature as their singing helped build their confidence. To top it all, this all had to take place in a warm friendly environment preferable with some laughter.

A chance conversation with a friend about these dreams saw the concept of Cloudglider begin to develop. "So isn't it time you stopped moonbeaming and cloudgliding and got on with it"? Her fate was sealed. In 2003 Cloudglider was born, the singing career came to an end and the journey of the vocal coach had begun.

And so we here are, still moonbeaming and cloudgliding, and reaching even greater heights than before. Why not join us for the ride?
